Wikipedia (Andy Gray opened the first Andy's Records retail shop on Mill Road, Cambridge in 1976 (having sold second-hand records from a stall on Felixstowe Pier since 1969); the chain grew past 30 UK stores, entered administration in May 2003, and 'all stores eventually shut on Saturday 13 September 2003' (its Beverley branch alone traded on independently until late 2005).
