Record Shop Directory lists every record store, combo shop, and listening bar we can verify — not just the ones with a Google Business Profile. Each listing is built from an independently researched, dated dataset: press coverage, a shop's own site and socials, and public listing status. We don't scrape reviews, and we don't import Google Places data.

Record store listings online go stale fast — hours change, shops close, and old directories keep serving outdated addresses. We date every fact we publish and keep closed shops visible instead of deleting them, so a link that used to point at a real shop still means something.
